Township Four is Moving On Up and Growing!

Story

Update: We are so sorry. I didn't realize that rewards are not allowed through GoFundMe's platform when I was putting this together. Any further donations as of 8:30am August 27, 2021 are purely donations. If you have already donated, we will reach out to you directly. Please feel free to call the shop directly or email us with any questions. Again, I am so sorry for the confusion - JedHello! We are Nathan and Jed from Township Four, we started this independent floral studio in July of 2017 on North Street in Pittsfield and it's been a heck of a ride! We're so grateful to our amazing staff and customers who have supported us over the years, but we have news: We're MOVING! This has been a long time coming, but we found an absolutely amazing spot at Hidden Farm, 2 Park Street in Lee, MA. If you're a local, you may remember this as Dr. Stratton's house - in fact, THREE generations of Dr. Strattons, starting in the mid-1800s, practiced medicine out of this 1820 farmhouse, all the way to the early 1990s. Hidden Farm is the name given to this historic property and we can't wait to answer the phone "Township Four at Hidden Farm".   We are so thrilled to announce our offer on the home has been accepted and we are moving both ourselves and the shop to Hidden Farm, fulfilling a major goal of ours to work and live on the same property.       Over the past four years in Pittsfield, we've taken our space from an empty shell to a fun spot to shop, never quite knowing what you'll find or how it's displayed! We are looking to do the same, and more, at Hidden Farm - imagine exploring well appointed rooms of gorgeous flowers, plants, fun gifts, antiques, and more; amazing outdoor decor, changing with the season and much of it handcrafted on site. The same view three years apart:         And so, we are looking for help. We have the mortgage covered, we're selling our cabin in Becket - the one that was featured in Berkshire Magazine's July 2019 issue - and that will cover our down payment and costs associated with real estate sales. Hidden Farm is move in ready - for the residence. What we're hoping you'll help us with are the costs of moving our shop there - painting, signage, parking (lots of municipal parking less than a block away), repairs as needed, permits, moving and rental van, and the build out of the spaces. These are the items we expect right off the bat; we really want to get in there as soon as we're able and open up shop right away. We'd love to have the experience for you to be closer to what you know us to be in Pittsfield, except maintaining and paying homage to the beautiful building that is Hidden Farm. We are so grateful to those who have supported us from even before day one; our friends and family, strangers who became close customers, the community at large, and our business partners along the way. We didn't expect to find this house, and so we weren't prepared for the potential costs associated; these funds will allow us to move in quickly and set up shop much more easily. Our current shop around the holidays:     We want to make an inviting and unique shopping experience for our customers and we'd love it if you could help out.Our timeline, currently as of August 26, looks like we could be in the new (old) place before Thanksgiving, allowing us time to potentially set up shop for the holiday season. Any and all funds raised are incredibly appreciated, again, we know we're an established business - we just didn't anticipate moving both shop and home (especially in the super busy autumn wedding season) this year and we want to thank you so much for your support. It means the world to us and we cannot wait to share our home with you! Kindly, Nathan and JedUpdate: We are so sorry.
