Dear Brother(s) and Sister(s) another great update. We have received the carpet and it will be installed in the coming weeks. The wudu area and bathroom facilities have made great progress and are close to completion.

Dear Brother(s) and Sister(s) a very positive update.

The Wudu area is almost complete, the carpet has been ordered and is currently in manufacturing.

We have been able to raise approx. $10,000 through gofundme and raised $30,000 from other sources. We are very close to reaching our goal of the full $55,000. JazakAllah Khair to all those who have donated and please keep sharing and forwarding and InshAllah we will reach our goal very soon.

JazakAllah to all those who have given their duas, time, energy, and donations to this centre. Even in these difficult times there has been amazing community effort and support for Townline Muslim Centre (TMC) which has allowed us to continue to operate. May Allah accept all our efforts.

At the beginning of the year we set out to start renovations and repairs to Townline Muslim Centre and we have made much progress. As we are coming closer to completing this phase of the renovations, we require two major items to finish the space requiring an additional $55,000.

Prayer Carpets – We do not have adequate carpeting, we have pieced together temporary carpeting in a smaller area to facilitate prayer. As we now move to a bigger area, we will be required to carpet 6500sq ft. This will cost $30,000.

Wudu Facilities – Currently the regular bathrooms are being used to perform wudu which is very restrictive and requires more upkeep. To fully finish the Wudu area it will cost $25,000.

InshAllah, after this is complete it will lead to a more open and peaceful area for prayer.
