Towels for Terran!
Donation protected
Hi everyone! Towels for Terran was started by friends of Terran Page as a way to provide support as Terran goes through treatment for Aplastic Anemia.
Recently, Terran, a senior at Pullman High School was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, which is a rare blood disorder that attacks the bone marrow’s ability to produce blood cells and platelets. Red cells, white cells, and platelets are affected.
This is a rare and serious life-threatening condition. However, it has a promising success rate when caught early.
Currently, family members are being tested to see if they are in match to donate bone marrow to Terran. Once there is a match, the process will start for the bone marrow transplant.
This will require Terran to be in the hospital for a minimum of 60 days as his body tries to start regenerating cells again. This phase is crucial for his body to remain infection free, and we pray that his body accepts the transplant without any complications.
Currently he is unable to attend school in person or participate in any sports due to risk of infections and bleeding.
In addition he is traveling to Spokane WA weekly for red blood cell and platelet transfusion’s.
Anybody that knows Terran knows that he has a big personality and he’s always the first person to lend a hand and find the positive in any situation, including this one!
In addition to the go-fund-me account, a donation account has been set up in Pullman at WSECU in Terran’s name to help the family with all of the travel costs and lodging.
