Towards a truck and 40 yrs worth of tools
Donation protected
Our dads truck was stolen from work on Monday the 27th of March. It was parked right outside his office where he was. When he heard it turn on he ran out to see the thief driving away with his life in it. If you know our dad, Tim, you already know how awful this is. Tim has been a general contractor for 40 years and he has to travel from site to site. Most of his tools were in his truck. The canopy alone was over 2k. He has a snowplow attachment on the front as well. Luckily the snowplow wasn’t on it at the time.
A police report was filed right away and my dad received an email yesterday saying they were closing his case. Insurance came back with an offer that won’t even get a comparable truck and the tools won’t be all the way covered either.
Thank you to everyone that has spent hours driving around looking for any sign of the truck.
Dad has always helped anyone who has needed it and this is a way for all of us to show him how much we appreciate and care for him. If you are able to donate, great. If not please just share and maybe tell people why donating to this would be a great cause.
Thank you
Pictures show some of how his truck was organized and packed. He took pride in his tools and had them all organized in easy to find containers.
Also below is a picture of the black truck that dropped of the thief, who is also pictured.
