My name is Emily Carter, and Ineed your help to raise some money toward the cost of representing GB at the world underwater hockey championships in Turkey, July 2026.

Under water Hockey - also known as Octopush - is a fast paced skilful and physical sport played at the bottom of a swimming pool.

I have been playing since I was 8 years old for St Albans club, and it has been my dream to represent team GB. For the last 2 years I have had the opportunity to train alongside the GB coaches and athletes in Leeds. improving my skills and impressing them with my fitness I am very excited to have been selected as one of the twelve girls to be part of the under 19 womens team, heading off to the world championships.

My parents have been supportive and funded everything for me, training, travel and kit. now I have landed them with a huge bill to attend the world championships, and I am seeking any support I can get to help.

Unfortunatly despite being playing in over 50 countries and originating in the UK, there is currently no sponsorship or grants available to players from the UK, and everything must be self funded.
