Tourison Family - Battling Cancer

Life sometimes takes painful, unexpected, unfair, untimely, and chaotic turns that are catastrophic and in the wink of an eye, changes everything. That happened for Cindy when not long ago she was diagnosed with stage four gastric cancer--for which she’s been a tough match for, given her amazing warrior-woman self. During her steadfast fight, there have been some very practical obstacles and challenges along the way that she can’t fight as she takes on the battle with cancer. These are more so the exorbitant bills—which as we all know, can take their own toll on a young family.  The stress and angst of the cancer fight and journey itself is enough for this family, let alone the pressures and stressors associated with the costs of care as they roll in and add up.

When Cindy wasn’t busy fighting cancer, she was busy being an amazing mom, partner to Steve and dear friend to so, so many of us—cheering us up, helping us find our warrior voices, lifting us, giving us levity and light.
