I Mr. Steve /kunta the founder of G!u!on#ang (Long pool) campsite hereby write to inform you that since I get involved in tourism as a youth activist of Nyae Nyae conservancy I operate as a local guide and I translate in film making, videos do scrips. Since 2004 I have assisted at local lodge as a local guide, I completed a 6-month guide training before I went into guiding tourist into khaduom national park.

I recently launch a campsite called G!u!on#ang (Long pool) at nhoma I practice tourism activities such as bush walk, guiding, field food, we provide campsite facilities tradional hut, home stay, horse race.

Currently we guide tourist in the village campsite we walk in the field to guide the tourist without any necessity equipment, we guide tourist without any safety wear such as boots, safety clothing.

I walk 15km deep sand that need a four-by-four cars to fetch water from nhoma to feet children and communities at the campsite, children walk bare foot to the secondary school. While I’m waiting days to guide tourist due to lack of funds to afford to pay for websites, and other social media platform to advertise my newly launch business.

We do not have portable water to serve the tourist, even water that women and children can have to access to since we have communities that stay close to our community campsite who are the family that live at home stay.

For past 19 years I worked as a local guide in the communities to promote our local culture and traditions, heritage, advocate for indigenous human rights, right to land.

My plead here currently I need assistance with a vehicle to transport water to the campsite, equipment such as water tank, 300 liter 2 times, camping tents x 10, water pump, toilet pots x 2, two mobile Samsung phones, need two laptop to be used at the front office for online booking system we need two campsites’ cars 4 by 4 cars to be used to assist guiding tourist, collecting water from 19-meter nhoma.
