Touring Van Totaled On Tour

Hello, friends. Alastair Greene here. Back in September I made the following post to my social media after my van accident while I was on tour. My touring van was totaled and I had to leave it in Canada at the end of our tour. We've got a busy summer coming up and I need to get a new set of wheels to bring the music to you!

There’s really no other way to say this…my van was hit and totaled in a horrible wreck while on tour leaving Canada on Monday. We’re all lucky to be alive and my van will be a total loss. I will be bouncing back from this as I’ve got some very exciting things coming up. I will be working on a Go Fund Me campaign shortly to replace my van. I plan on coming back from this stronger than ever. If you’re unable to help out financially I TOTALLY get it. Well, the time has come! Thankfully I received some money from my insurance company as well as some very generous Venmo / PayPal donations after the accident. I am so grateful to everyone that already helped out with my cause. I've got that money in a savings account set aside for a new vehicle. I still need to raise some more funds however. I have been giving serious consideration to getting a Chevy Suburban for the new touring vehicle. Those are looking to start at around $30,000 for a later model with low mileage. Cuz we're gonna put some miles on this thing! I am still grateful to be alive after this episode. The top photo is from the last time I got to see my van when we were unloading it into the rental.
