Donation protected
We here at Falling Iguana Theatre will be taking our second original production, 81 Minutes, on tour across the East Coast from April 22-24, 2022!

ABOUT THE TOUR!
Our first stop with 81 Minutes is in Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 22nd, where the show was first performed in 2021. Next, we will travel to Sackville, New Brunswick, in partnership with Live Bait Theatre and NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival on April 23rd. The tour's final stop will be in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on April 24th. We are extremely excited to have our original cast return to remount 81 Minutes. They are: Jilly Hanson, Jean-Michel Cliche, Neomi Iancu Haliva, Ian Ottis Goff and Alexa Higgins

ABOUT THE PLAY!
81 Minutes is a fast-paced thrill ride exploring the largest unsolved art heist in history- that of the Gardner Museum in Boston in 1990. The play is a speculative depiction of the events of that fateful night, and weaves together two intersecting storylines: the adventure of the thieves and guards present on the night of the robbery in 1990, and the story of the museum’s trailblazing founder Isabella Stewart Gardner in the late 1800s. The piece runs exactly 81 minutes (the precise amount of time the thieves were in the museum), which is counted down, in real-time, by a clock hanging above the stage. As with Falling Iguana’s previous work, this production fuses movement, text, and music into a highly entertaining theatrical experience.

ABOUT US!
81 Minutes is presented by Toronto-based physical theatre company Falling Iguana Theatre. Falling Iguana Theatre is dedicated to creating physical, evocative, and original works of theatre in Canada. Check us out here:

“Encompassing an astounding spectrum of emotion that includes plenty of comedy and energy, 81 Minutes is a true powerhouse production from start to finish.”
-Grid City Magazine (Review of 81 Minutes)

"Outstanding work from Higgins and Goff in this 60-minute marathon of storytelling; conveying character, emotion, action and place through monologue, dialogue, dance, movement and practically zero props/set pieces with energy and precision."
-Life With More Cowbell (Review of DIANA (I knew you when we were fourteen))

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP.
We are asking for donations to contribute towards the costs of the third leg of the tour in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. All donations raised will go towards venue rental costs, accommodations, transportation costs, and contribute towards our artists' fees.

All donations received help us bring this fast-paced, touching, funny play to a broader audience, and we thank you for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Ian Ottis Goff & Alexa Higgins,
Co-Artistic Directors,
Falling Iguana Theatre
