As a part of my Bar Mitzvah, I am challenging myself (and you!) to raise money for a worthy cause and ride 100 miles! Several years ago, I had the idea that it would be an incredible experience to ride my bike from Bethesda to Bethany. My Papa Charlie and many other family members are avid bike riders and I love a good challenge!
So, I am excited to announce the "Tour de Mitzvah" 100 mile Bike to the Beach Fundraiser. We'd love for you to join us (maybe not necessarily to ride)!
I have chosen an incredible charity to ride for. Wish for Wheels gives away free bikes and helmets to 2nd graders across the U.S.. The non-profit donates over 6000 bikes and helmets each year to transform the lives of kids from low-income communities, broadening their scope for personal growth and a healthy lifestyle.
