Cancer seems ever more present in our lives. It has affected my friends and family in various ways - not least my brother, Neil, who is a near and dear case in point. Diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, he benefited from quick and effective treatment and is now in remission.

Neil and I are doing the Tour De 4 together: a 56 mile bike ride, organised by sir Chris Hoy, supporting those impacted by stage 4 cancer. I'm raising money for Blood Cancer UK to fund study and treatment.
