Tour Paused: Help LLORA beat Stage II Cancer
Donation protected
Hey y’all,
Late last year, I had surgery to treat testicular cancer (a unilateral orchiectomy, they took my right testicle out) and thought that might be the end of it after also removing my spermatic cord/some nerve endings to isolate it further. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. While starting an international tour in New York, I found out the cancer has become metastatic and spread to my lymph nodes (possibly elsewhere), making it Stage II.
So now I’m back in Texas gearing up for 3 rounds of chemotherapy. I start BEP chemotherapy on June 2nd—an aggressive treatment that’s gonna knock me on my ass for a few months. Hair? Gone. Energy? Questionable. Style? Still immaculate.
But ready to end this shit once and for all if I can.
Before heading out on tour, I’d moved out of my place, put everything in storage, and didn’t renew my lease since I thought I’d be gone for months. Cancelling tour meant losing a lot — non-refundable travel, income, and a bunch of merch I now have to sell. On top of that, I found out my car’s busted, I’ve got medical copays stacking up, and I’m just now settling into a temporary spot in Frisco to get through chemo.
I really didn’t want to start another GoFundMe. But I’ve learned cancer doesn’t care about timing, budgets, or your tour schedule. Your support will go toward treatment-related costs, car repairs, housing, groceries, and staying afloat through this next chapter.
I’ll be back, bald, and blessed with wigs — ready to perform again with more stories to tell cause my life is a fuckin movie at this point lol.
Thanks for helping me keep going.
Much love,
LLORA
