Tour de Zwireland Cycle - Do it for Dan
Hi everyone,
From 24th April, we will have the Tour de Zwireland Virtual Cycling event on Zwift which will cover 625km over 2 weeks in 14 stages. It covers 625km and over 4,000 metres of climbing which is the equivalent of Malin Head to Mizen Head – the full length of Ireland.
(The Irish equivalent of Lands End to John O’Groats in UK).
We started out raising funds for a fabulous little boy in Ireland who needed to raise eur2m to get life saving treatment in the US.
The great news is that all the fundraising efforts have raised enough to send Dan to to get this treatment. And Thank You to all the Donors.
We have now expanded our fundraising and will donate the balance of funds to UNICEF. At this critical time where many people are out of work and find themselves in economic difficulties, children are the most vulnerable. Isolation has also dramatically increased domestic violence and vulnerability towards children. UNICEF raises funds globally to support the most vulnerable and deserving children. Please continue to support this cause.
All donations are much appreciated for a great cause like this.
