I’m Nigel, and after more than 10 years living and working abroad, I’m making my journey home to the UK in a unique way – by cycling from Stuttgart to Northampton to raise money for the Costa Rica Rescue Center.

Just a man, a bike, and a tent.

That means:

1,200 km

4,800 m of elevation

11 days across Europe

But this ride is about more than just the adventure. Once I complete the journey, Noms and I will be flying to Costa Rica, where we’ll spend three months as volunteer coordinators at the Rescue Center. There, we’ll be helping to rehabilitate injured wildlife for release back into the wild, and caring for those animals who sadly cannot be released.

Every penny raised from this bike ride will go directly to the Rescue Center Costa Rica. Our trip and living costs in Costa Rica are entirely self-funded – none of the donations will be used for our expenses or the expenses of the bike ride.
