My name is Kylie, my best friend Lisa's husband and family need our help.

Brendan was in a very serious accident during his bicycle commute home from work on Wednesday 20th September. He has multiple traumatic injuries which will involve a long and painful recovery. Thankfully none are life threatening, however Brendan will lose some of his independence for a period and require care in the months ahead.

They did not want me to ask, but I know in this early phase they need immediate help covering the day to day accumulating costs associated with his hospitalisation. Support is also needed for Lisa and their 2 teenage daughters, Kiri and Xanthe, who are doing and amazing job rallying for Brendan and keeping their small business in Hobart (Next Door Cafe) open and running.
