Alpha Omega Delta Literary Society is proud to announce that we are committing to another 200-mile biking trip from Greenville, SC, to Charleston, SC. This trip has been an overwhelming success, and we hope to continue this tradition of excellence. This year our fundraising will be supporting Johnathan's House in Central Africa.
The two-day biking trip will be on February 14th and 15th, and we hope to have reached our goal in time for the end of Bible Conference the week after (2/21).
This year Bob Jones University has set a goal of fundraising $100,000 for Jonathan's House for a new building, and Tour de Omega plays a key part in raising these funds.
More information about Jonathan's House:
Jonathan’s House Central Africa is a gospel-centered mission that exists to provide physical and spiritual help, hope and healing to vulnerable children and their community in the Central African Republic, so that they become self-sufficient, gospel-centered disciples of Jesus who are equipped to serve others.
Jonathan's House has 3 primary facets:
- An orphanage that cares for 50 at-risk children, from newborns to teenagers.
- A school that educates and feeds over 400 children from the surrounding area.
- A medical clinic that provides life-saving care to the underserved people of the CAR.
Our goal this year will be $20,000. We know this is a lofty goal, but we've been constantly impressed by the generosity we've seen in our communities.
We are incredibly thankful for your contribution to our cause, even if that means just sharing our story with those around you. We could not do this without you, and we thank you so much for your gracious generosity.
