Tour de Fripp
Donation protected
Last summer, my son asked me what I wanted to do for my 60th birthday. For some strange reason, I said, "Let's bike to the coast." As I began to work toward this goal, it occurred to me that I should be doing this for a cause other than myself. About the same time I decided to do this ride, one of my grandchildren was diagnosed with autism. All of my grandchildren inspire me but this one gives me that extra push to work harder and be better. I know God has a plan for all we do so I'm confident in His plan. I'm sure there will be obstacles along the way, but He gives us the strength we need.
Through this ride I would like to raise awareness to autism, and I would like to donate to a couple of families that I know are suffering due to unforeseen circumstances. If you feel lead to donate and would like to know more, please private message me. I do not feel it is in their best interest for me to publicize their private lives. Please keep Austin and me in your prayers as we ride, as well as the people we represent. We will be riding for three days beginning on October 14.
