Tour Cancelation & Spine Surgery

As many of you know, I have been planning a US nationwide tour since April 2021. Between flights, hotels, event space rental, sound equipment, merch, transportation and more, I organized each and every single detail down to printed VIP badges for a custom show experience. This was going to be the single most exciting creative experience of my life.

All that changed last week when I got out of bed and realized that despite my best efforts, I could not straighten my back under my own power. While my back had been painful recently, this was a feeling all too familiar to me. After several surgical consultations over the last week, it is now an undisputed reality that I will once again be getting major spine surgery. The same spine surgery that i received in 2019. Fortunately I was able to book an appointment in less than 2 weeks, but with that appointment comes several disappointing truths.

With this surgery comes the demoralizing reality that the tour I have worked so hard to plan for is now going to be canceled and re-scheduled for next Summer. I do intend to still visit each and every city on the original itinerary, but because of the nature of deposits, down payments and up front costs, the rescheduling is going to end up costing me thousands of dollars. Add to that the fact that between MRI's, epidural injections, and of course a major surgery, my medical bills are going to start adding up very quickly. Even with health insurance, the experience is going to cost me thousands of dollars on top of the tour losses.

If you have a show ticket, that ticket will still be valid for next Summer. Additionally, if you want a refund for your ticket, I of course am happy to accommodate.

So many of you have been supportive of my career over the years, and I can't thank you for that enough. With this GoFundMe I am hoping to weather the storm and emerge from the surgery with enough momentum to get back on my feet. Both spiritually and physically.
