Tough Times for a Friend - Let's Lend a Hand!

A friend of ours that would prefer not to be named has hit some hard times. She's been doing her best to get on top of the situation, but after paying almost $1000 she still owes over $1100 before they'll turn her power and water back on ( CU put $700 toward a new deposit rather than paying down the amount due and requires the deposit and the balance be paid in full before restoring services.). After three weeks with no water or power she has had to start couch surfing plus, the paycheck she was supposed to get today, didn't come.
