Tough Mudder for North Staffs Mind
In Memory of Rich – Tough Mudder Midlands 2025
On 6th July 2025, a group of us will be taking on the Tough Mudder Midlands – a gruelling 15km course with over 20 obstacles – in memory of my late brother, Rich.
Rich was someone who dedicated his life to helping others. Through his work in the police force, he made an incredible impact in our community, always putting others before himself. He was deeply committed to making a difference—and he did.
Tragically, we lost Rich to suicide earlier this year. His loss has left a huge hole in our lives, but we are determined to honour his memory in a way that reflects who he was: strong, selfless, and compassionate.
We’re raising money for North Staffs Mind, a local mental health charity that offers vital support to people across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands. Our hope is that, by supporting this charity, we can help others who may be struggling—just as Rich once did.
This challenge is more than mud and obstacles. It’s a tribute. A way to keep Rich’s memory alive. And a step towards better mental health support for everyone.
Thank you for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply taking the time to read this. It truly means the world.
