Hi all,

We are Amelia & Lewis and on the 26th July 2025, we will be taking part in Tough Mudder Yorkshire to raise money for two charities extremely close to our heart.

In December of 2024 my amazing, funny & resilient uncle passed away after being diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in March of 2024. Maggie’s Yorkshire (connected to the Leeds University Hospital) provided such a safe and caring space not just for my uncle but for his family too. They are an incredible charity, who have supported a lot of people & they deserve people to give back.

The second charity we are raising money for is Chasing Rainbows charity, who work to raise awareness and provide support to those going through infertility, pregnancy and recurrent loss. Myself and Lewis over the course of 2023-2024 experienced multiple losses & I have struggled with infertility since late 2017. Chasing rainbows hold various charity events, as well as offering multiple methods of support. When I was at my lowest, chasing rainbows connected me with an amazing Penpal, who heard every word and provided incredible support to myself. They also had a Christmas tree with baubles on to honour babies that are no longer with us. They have never made me feel invalid & the work they do is amazing. Including the creation of the rainbow pregnancy lanyard that they are rolling out in hospitals in their local area.

As you can see, these two charities mean a lot to us both and have got not just us but our family too through some very tough times. Please consider donating to our page & support us as we take on Tough Mudder (quite a big challenge considering I am most definitely not a running girly, never mind 5k!
