So… Jess, Colleen, Sarah, Hollie, Lydia, Siobhan, Steph and I are taking part in Tough Mudder, to raise money for the Huntington’s Disease Association (Yep, we have a LOT of training to do ).
Why?
Huntington’s is a rare and incurable disease. Unfortunately it has directly affected our dear friend.
As it is so rare, much more awareness needs to be raised to support vital research, which could help those affected.
The Huntington's Disease Association is a national charity supporting people affected by Huntington's disease (HD) across England and Wales.
HD is hereditary; affects the central nervous system and is currently incurable. Caused by a faulty gene passed through families; each child of a parent with HD has a 50% chance of inheriting it. Through their national support network, publications, local branches, professional training and social research funding they help people affected by HD live a better life.
Do you want to join us in making a difference? We’re raising money in aid of Huntington's Disease Association and every donation will help.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
Wish us luck (we’re going to need it!) xxxx
