Tough Mudder 2023 - Christy Lambe Foundation
Donation protected
M Lambe Construction has announced the launch of a new charity initiative, the Christy Lambe Foundation (CLF). This year the business is launching The Christy Lambe Foundation in memory of Christy Lambe who sadly took his own life. Christy was full of compassion and loved helping other people so the foundation will focus on providing people with mental health support, accommodation and jobs.
The Christy Lambe Foundation aims to bolster support for the company’s long-time partners, the Lighthouse Club, Standing Tall and Tabor Living, whose intense voluntary work has helped lift countless individuals out of homelessness and destitution, providing those who have fallen on hard times with the opportunities needed to build their lives anew.
Thanks to the generous contributions raised by attendees at the foundation’s launch this year, we have already been able to raise an incredible £50,000 for the cause – an extraordinary sum and a surefire way for the initiative to hit the ground running.
However, much work lies ahead to ensure The Christy Lambe Foundation can continue to enhance the well-being of our community going into the future. To this end, we plan to redouble our fundraising efforts across the year, while continuing to raise awareness of the plight of those in need through frequent events and campaigns.
This June, one of our valued fitters Jason Manns, along with his friend Ben Porter, will be participating in Europe's 12 hour Toughest Mudder to raise money for the Foundation. The individuals have been dedicating six days a week to training in preparation for the event. Any donations will be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
