Touch of Sparkle

Touch of Sparkle provides 'care packs' to patients at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon, UK. We work with a range of local charities including the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, Hunts Community Cancer Network, Something To Look Forward To, Maggies Cambridge and Macmillan Cambridge. The care packs are mostly donated to cancer patients in the oncology department but batches are also produced for other departments as part of special projects, at the request of the hospitals. Touch of Sparkle is run by Adam Lambert fans (on an unofficial basis).

The idea is to spread a little care and humanity and try to lighten the load for patients. The packages include:

- Practical items (e.g. bed socks, tissues, sweets, herbal tea for anti-sickness)
- Distractions (e.g. puzzle book, notebook, pen, earphones, playing cards)
- Pamper items (e.g. nail varnish, moisturiser, lipbalm)

The items are purchased from donations to this gofundme page and via an Amazon wishlist

Any donations, however small, are very much appreciated to help us spread a touch of sparkle and lend a helping hand to those facing this difficult journey.
