#touchformaui Massage Drive, August 19 2023

Aloha kakou!

We will be holding a massage drive at Maui Academy of Healing Arts on August 19th, 2023 from 9AM to 6PM. We've gathered a whole group of volunteer LMTs, including our new students for the Fall course to come and donate their time doing 30-minute massage sessions for any and all who attend. We encourage all of the community to come and receive regardless if they are affected by the wildfire. This work will be donation based, so we will accept as much or as little as anyone can give.

100% of all amounts we collect from those of you far and wide as well as drive attendees will be given directly to the MauiStrong Fund which is being facilitated locally by the Hawai'i Community Foundation. They are a part of our community right here who know how to most effectively distribute funds where they are needed. We thought this was the best way to get fast resources where they are most critical! We will be doing live updates during the drive and reaching out to the community with progress on our fundraising. Mahalo nui for supporting our ravaged island, the days and weeks ahead will bring heartache to many however we believe in the power of this community to band together like no other.
