Touch & Go is a gritty, grounded thriller that follows Peter Hooker, a man torn between the influence of his estranged father and his ex-girlfriend. Struggling with drug addiction and homelessness, Peter has become isolated from the people he still loves. Determined to rebuild his life and find steady work, he finds himself pulled into an unexpected custody battle over Wendy’s child—forcing him to confront his past and choose who he wants to become.

Our Goal:

Our goal is to raise enough through crowdfunding to fully finance this project—from pre-production all the way through to its release. Your support will not only help us bring the film to life on set, but it will also allow us to submit it to film festivals where it can gain visibility, reach new audiences, and create meaningful opportunities for everyone involved.

The film industry is undergoing a massive shift. In the wake of the pandemic, the WGA and SAG strikes, and widespread production cuts, self-financing films has become nearly impossible. Funding from studios has dwindled, and many productions have moved overseas in search of better tax incentives and cheaper labor.

This exodus has left countless industry professionals out of work, struggling to support their families. Fewer and fewer people are going to the theater, choosing instead to stay home with streaming platforms, YouTube, and social media.

As a result, many workers are being forced to leave the country, change careers, or even sell their homes. With limited access to traditional funding, independent filmmaking is one of the few paths left—and those projects often only find distribution after they’re made.
