My name is No'An, and I live and breathe a vision of healing, regeneration, and deep reconnection with the Earth. I am the heart behind Ninho do Guarda-Rios (Kingfisher’s Nest), a sanctuary nestled in Vale Fuzeiros, where humans, animals, and the land itself are invited to reweave their bond through presence, care, and mutual listening.

At the core of this project lives TOTEM – The Animal Therapeutical Project — a vibrant constellation of animal companions (horses, cows, goats, dogs, and birds), each carrying their own medicine. These beings are not just animals — they are teachers, mirrors, and co-therapists in a living, breathing field of healing and remembrance.

From Nera, the wise and intuitive mare, to Mumu, the resilient young cow who was rejected at birth and now teaches about gentle strength, every animal here is part of a larger ecology of presence — offering sessions of deep sensing, grounding, and multidimensional reconnection with the self and with nature.

We are not creating a zoo. We are co-creating a field of coherence, where children and adults, including those with trauma, burnout, or disconnection, can come to rest, rewire their nervous systems, and remember the natural rhythm of life — guided by animals, minerals, plants, and silence.

Why We’re Reaching Out

To keep regenerating this delicate balance between human and nature, we are looking for supporters and allies. Our dream is to build small resting places — natural, integrated shelters where visitors can slow down, reconnect, and receive. Cob houses, mobile units, greenhouses turned into living spaces — each designed with the landscape, not against it.
