Help Squeakers Toss the Tube

Aiden is by far the biggest inspiration we have ever known. He fights any challenge that comes his way & conquers it like a champ. Starting with his amazing birth story & continuing on through his open heart surgery at 4 months old. He has excelled since surgery & is doing great.

The last hurdle that we are facing is his feeding tube. He has been on the tube since he was born due to tiring out from the large hole in his heart. Fast forward 8 months & medically there ia nothing wrong that he needs it but at this point he is dependent on it. He is always full so has no desire to take from the bottle. He is progressing with eating solids and is ready to be free from the tube.

We found a program in Virginia that specializes in an intensive 10 day tube weaning program with huge success rates. Insurance does not cover most of the $20,000 program. Besides the program costs the consultation fee alone is $2,000 and there are also expenses for the travel & overnight accomodations .  Time is of the essence in order to get into the program running in Aug.

Hard enough as it is to ask for this help we know it is needed for Aiden to move forward. Now that he is on the move it is a constant battle to keep taping his face so he doesn't pull it out, having to reinsert the tube which hurts & making sure he is safe from the tube wrapping around his body/neck. Anything to help Aiden conquer the tube would be greatly appreciated & we thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♡
