Friends and Adventurers,

Sometimes we all feel a little abandoned in life, and sometimes that struggle gets very real. And it's hard pretending that everything is fine when it feels like everything is crashing down around you.

My name is Celeste, some might know me as a friendly musing mage, others as a terrifying ADHD chaos gremlin. I'm newly graduated from a diploma program and on the job hunt as I try to transition into a new chapter of my life.

Alas, not all transitions are peaceful, and mine has been a bit of a bumpy ride. I've been job-hunting since shortly after handing in my last assignment (a 3D model of a bronze airship that I was rather proud of). The hunt for fulfilment is slow-going, interrupted by a raging wisdom tooth infection and then the rather inconveniently-timed discovery that I'm allergic to amoxicillin. But we have not yet given up on our quest to find stable work!

Despite my struggle, plans for income support fell through, and as of noon on May 31st, I will be left without a roof over my head, and nowhere to go. It's a hard spot to be in, to know that even though I have a bed to sleep in right now, in a week, I won't.

With a job, my hope is that I'll be able to get a tiny studio apartment from which to do my witchy work, entertain my community, and finally start building a life that's mine. But right now...the numbers aren't looking good. I've been out of work for almost two years while going to school, and school expenses have taken a toll on my finances. And even now that I have the skills and schooling, the world is still a really tough place to survive in. Who'd have thought, right?

So, if you feel in your heart kind enough to help out a struggling writer and designer to afford a roof, food, and maybe half-decent internet as she picks herself up after a long two years of study and works towards the dream of having a stable job, then I thank you.
