The last couple of days my cat, Tosia, has been struggling to eat and is in desperate need of a Dental Cleaning Procedure. This includes a cleaning under anesthesia and the removal of bad teeth. Before the procedure, she requires bloodwork to ensure she will be okay under anesthesia, but the total cost for everything is around $3,900. I was able to cover her emergency vet visit, and a two-week antibiotic shot that will hopefully ease her pain, but without this dental procedure and bloodwork her health will start declining quickly and she will die.
I am currently a full-time student at CCSU and have a full class schedule. Outside of classes, I work as a private tutor to help support myself, but even with this income, I struggle to cover my basic expenses. This includes rent, groceries, and other necessities. Despite this I do everything I can to support Tosia, though I do need assistance.
I’m doing everything I can, but I need help to give her the care she deserves. Below is the list with exact details and costs of everything as I was given from the vet.
IDEXX Senior Profile Select Preferred: $450.50
Cystocentesis: $25.00
Dental Cleaning Procedure: $3,000
While the dental cleaning procedure is estimated at around $3,000, the final cost could be higher depending on factors like the amount of anesthesia Tosia needs and any additional treatments required during the process.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me get her the care she needs faster. We appreciate your help!
