Support for Toshonya Morris Fields' family.

Friday, May 28th will be a Memorial Day weekend that the family, friends, and loved ones of Toshonya (Morris)Fields will never forget.
Friday, May 28th started out just like any other day. Toshonya was home with the kids. She had just given birth to our daughter Sibella on May 16th. As I was working to bring in income while she was on maternity leave, things quickly turn for the worst when I returned home and found Toshonya passed out on the kitchen floor.  The woman who spent 20 years of her life as a healthcare worker saving lives as an EMT, paramedic, surgical technician, and who was studying to be a doctor was now in need of saving. Unfortunately, unlike the many people Toshonya has helped, her story did not have a happy ending. Toshonya was placed on life support while tests were being completed to better understand her condition and the root cause of her trauma. At 5:08 I received the devastating news that at the age of 35 she had suffered a stroke and was pronounced brain dead.
Toshonya leaves behind her husband, 3 sons(Jason, Kaleb, David), and daughter Sibella who is only 2 weeks old. When individuals talk about Toshonya they often talk about how she was a loving mother, how protective she was over her loved ones, and her giving nature. Even in death, Toshonya was able and devoted to saving others by being an organ donor and on Sunday, May 30 she was able to save  5 lives in need by donating her heart, lungs, kidneys, intestines, and tissue.
Toshonya was considered in great health and was trying to actively plan for the future of her family not her own burial, she and I worked hard to ensure our children had a good education and a bright future. Her children being well taken care of and receiving a great education was always her primary concern focus. She would sacrifice everything to ensure her kids could go to the best schools and her DREAM for them to be able to learn the violin and piano. She always wanted her kids to study medicine and it is our hope that these funds will assist them in studying the brain and how to cure the same illness that took her so early. She will truly be missed by ALL that had the opportunity to know her!
This Go-Fund-Me is being established to help Toshonya's and David Fields' families with the expenses due to her untimely death(mortgage, bills, etc.) and to support her children's education. When someone passes without a will in place their legalities delay the family from being able to access some financial accounts. Dealing with the untimely death of a loved one is troubling enough! Today, the friends and loved ones of Toshonya Morris Fields ask for your kind donations to help relieve her family of financial burdens due to her passing. Thank you and God Bless!
