So here we go AGAIN! Lots of need but this one pulled on our heartstrings. I had decided to not take on any more but this boy is in trouble! He was found running loose and captured by AC somewhere in nowhere’s land. Poor thing was just trying to survive and acting like an Akita. The breed standard is that Akitas are not good with other dogs or small animals. They were bred to protect livestock and people! Toshiro is no exception! 

 Unfortunately Handsome here ( we named him Toshiro) tried to get to a dog behind a fence. In short , because he acted breed specific he is now rescue only!

What matters to us is that he is good with people! Calm, sweet, gentle and will give a kiss for food. He is a staff favorite  because he is so gentle and calm, so how could we leave him there.

 Toshiro must have been starving out on his own for who knows how long. He is truly skin and bones with calluses on his elbows and sit bones. Sweet baby at the very least will needs some antibiotics, steroid shot and a medical bath, heartworm test, nail trim, heart worm meds and some decent food. It will be a long time before his coat will shine in its former glory but we are committed to help him get there! Please help us save him!
