Dear Friends,
Tosca Zoppé and her mother, Sandra Zoppé, were in a serious car accident this last week. Their truck and trailer were totaled a few miles from their home in Arkansas after a long journey from Arizona.
They are struggling with injuries and have been in the hospital. Tosca's leg is broken in 5 places. If you know her and her work, she is understandably scared and worried about how this will affect her livelihood. Mama Sandra has 8 broken ribs, a broken wrist, and a head injury. She is still in intensive care as they are worried about pneumonia.
Jay, Tosca's amazing husband, is currently unable to work because he is care giving. Friends are pulling together to help Tosca and Mama Sandra because they are in separate hospitals. This is very difficult because Tosca is Mama's primary caregiver.
At this time, their costs are very high. In order to take time for healing, which could be up to a year, we (their friends and community) want to help!
Their expenses to get back on their feet to work and live on the road include:
1. Pick up truck similar to a Super Duty Diesel Ford F-350 with Towing capabilities
2. 5th wheel travel trailer.
3. Daily living expenses for 6 months or more
a) food
b) housing costs
c) expenses related to their 3 dogs - Tosca’s Hansel and Gretel and Mama’s Fauvette
4. Boarding their beloved horses - Cavalino, Picolino, Matino, Romeo, Zingaro, and Toulouse
These are wonderful people who have helped so many throughout the years. Now is the opportunity, in their time of need, for us to help them.
