Tory’s recovery journey from a 4x4 accident
Donation protected
Our dear friend Tory was severely injured in a vehicle rollover while 4x4ing on May 18th. It was a 360 degree rollover resulting in her breaking her back in five places. Emergency crews and friends had to cut the buggy apart to safely extract her. She had surgery at Kelowna General Hospital to fuse her T6 T7 T8 vertebrae together. Tory was recently air lifted to Victoria General Hospital for the remainder of her hospital stay.
She has since had to step back from her job, give up her rental and will be moving back in with relatives so she can start her long road to recovery. It’s still too soon to know if there is any permanent impairment or what this road will actually look like for her.
Anything donated will help go towards, fuel expenses to appointments, physio, pain medication, counselling and other medical expenses that may arise.
I’m reaching out, hoping that some of us may be able to help rally and support our dear wheeling, dirt biking and dog loving friend. Please consider donating to help this rad gal get back on her feet and back on the trails.
