Dogs are tortured viciously & mercilessly in unspeakable ways for days, often 40 hours, before being killed in coutries throughout Asia. They are beaten, hung, stabbed, boiled, electrocuted, nailed, and on and on, all while alive and afraid. 

Bears in certain Asian countries are kept in cages so small and tightly fitted to their bodies, they cannot move, become deformed, and lose all their teeth in futile attempts to chew through the bars. They have their bile painfully extracted from their Liver-Gall Bladder, while starving, sick, and in agony. They often live decades, 35 years in some cases this way, suffering every day.

I know it is upsetting to hear these horrific desriptions, but I'm astonished there isn't more sweeping outcry of this issue. I'm upset more isn't being done. I have to do something.  And more than what I can do alone presently.

I'm volunteering to help two non-profits fighting these atrocious, unforgiveable practices:

100% of the funds raised will go to these organizations that rescue horrifically tortured, injured, abused dogs, bears, and other cases of extreme animal cruelty. They often are able to save lives by purchasing them from torture-slaughter facilities and atrocious (bear-bile) harvesting properties. They petiton governments, and fund the rescue missions, provide extenstive trauma-medical attention the animals need, relocation expenses, sanctuary funding, adoption outreach (for the dogs), and so much more.

There is unspeakable, unimaginable, incomparible, long-term brutality, agony, pain, cruelty inflicted on these innocent animals.  

Where there is human tragedy, there is human intervention & justice efforts. There's news coverage, awareness campaigns, support & resource efforts to galvanize action & support. 

I hope you may be willing to donate to these beyond suffering victims and these foundations acting to save them. They are not silent, they are screaming, and not enough people are listening, not enough people are acting on their behalf.  I know there is animal brutality all over the world. Sadly, wherever there are humans, animals suffer. I am focusing on these two which are among the worst because of the nature of the violence and the duration of suffering.  And these two groups are swift and targeted, founded and run by heroic individuals devoting their lives to this. They really do directly use donations to fund the programs to save lives and stop these inexcusable & evil practices. 

In addition to a donation, please consider voting against this by avoiding the purchase of products that are made in these countries (China, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines among biggest perpetrators), avoiding tourism/ travel to these countries, to share awareness of it as a grave crisis that needs serious action, and to share this fundraiser to provide resources to do it. 

Consider going directly to these organizations with donations, adoption or fostering of these animals (dogs), or sponsoring animals in recovery (bears can be sponsored & gifts an be provided directly:).

It is in the DNA of dogs to be with humans, and in the DNA of humans to stay away from the other animals. These  heinous crimes are aggravated by these betrayals.
