Hi my name is Nicky I started a tortoise sanctuary, I’ve owned a tortoise since I was 5 and I adore them. Sadly lots of tortoises need to be rehomed, people don’t understand the commitment and investment they require. I currently have 29 tortoises at the sanctuary that eat a lot on average £50 a week on food and the electric is £300 a month. I am looking to build a big enclosure that’s safe for all but really need some help with building costs.
