I'm Aron, assistant coach and admin for Hurstpierpoint Colts Tornadoes under 10's football team.

The new season seems to have only just started, but our thoughts are already turning to the Summer Tournaments.

Although we are largely funded by our parent club, extras such as tournament entry requires self funding. The end of season tournaments are richly rewarding events that give the boys a chance to show off how they are developing as a squad, showcasing their talents and give them much needed experience of tournament football. Over the years we've entered tournaments at Steyning, Henfield, and Worthing, as well as tournaments run by local academies, such as LPA (Learn, Play, Achieve) and RMA (Russell Martin Academy).

It's also a fab day out for all the family - usually involving a BBQ, bar, ice creams, memorabilia stalls, rides, and just a chance for everyone to have fun after a long season.

However, entry to these tournaments can be costly, and with a large, and talented squad we try to enter two teams to give everyone a chance. I have setup this new GoFundme to help cover entry to these tournaments.

The aim is to raise enough to cover entry for two teams to four tournaments (not including our own Tournament, which is free to us.
