Tornado Tragedy: Family Seeks Relief

Friday night, we lost our home due to the tornado in London, KY. I stood in the road at 2 AM that night and cried, unable to reach my home, only to be told by responders that my home was fine. After coming home the next day, we found that our home was destroyed. We are very lucky to have our lives, and I thank God for that.

My mother-in-law lost her life Thursday afternoon, due to a brain bleed. After traveling to Lexington all week and losing her and our home in the same week, this is very hard on my family and especially my 2-year-old daughter. How do you explain to your 2 year old that her house is gone and daddy can’t fix it and that her slide that was outside is untelling where.

We need help getting back on our feet with, just anything to help us.
