Tornado Support Fund for Joe, Alexis, and Violet
As most of you have probably seen or heard from friends/family, Facebook, or the news by now, Joe & Alexis were one of the many families affected by the tornado that went through Woodridge late Sunday night. They had just had Violet’s 1st birthday party at their house the day before.
Thankfully they were able to get out of their house safely! :) The outside of the house took a major beating to the roof, siding, fence, windows, etc. After meeting with adjusters today, the inside also suffered some damage that will most likely have them out of their house for an estimated 6 months while repairs are being made.
They are safe and sound with family and will be working with their insurance company to set up temporary housing very soon.
In the meantime, many of you have reached out to me and Alexis to offer Uber eats credits, gift cards, groceries, Venmo, etc. I decided this might be the easiest platform for anyone to donate if you’d like to :)
A huge thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to assist with their yard cleanup. It was incredible to see the community come together.
As you can imagine, it is a very stressful and emotional time having to uproot their lives very unexpectedly. They have so much love and support from family and friends, and I know Joe, Alexis, and their brave Tornado baby Violet appreciate all the love more than you know.
Thank you so much!
