Hi, we're Kelsey and Allison, both located in St. Louis, Missouri and we're helping raise money for our good friend and everyone's friend Michael Roman. Not just for Roman, but also for his mother Barbara.

As many of you already know, Mike's house, located in the

DeBaliviere Place neighborhood, was hit by the tornado that devastated St. Louis on 5/15/25. His home sustained broken windows, a crushed garage, and will be without electricity for 2-3 weeks, possibly longer, along with many other damages. He cannot live there for the time being.

The most immediate concern is that Barbara was supposed to be moving in with him, literally this week. Due to the damage, she needs to stay at her assisted living center for the time being. Mike is fine staying with friends until he can move back in to the house, but Barbara cannot until the power is restored and the house is safe for someone with serious medical needs to stay.

In addition, Mike is essentially out of work as his yard and property

are not safe for his dog boarding and day care business to operate. Anyone who knows Roman knows how much he loves taking care of his dogs and not being able to be with them right now is breaking his heart and we know he feels as though he is letting his regular clients down.

We need to raise $7,200 to keep Barbara in her current assisted living for the next month so she is safe.
