On Friday night, the neighboring town of Des Arc was severely impacted by a tornado, resulting in widespread devastation for both residents and businesses. The extent of the damage is staggering. One of our own, Sommer, is in urgent need of our support. While her extended family survived the tornado, they have lost everything. Nine individuals, including an eight-month-old baby, sought refuge in the basement of their store, which has been entirely destroyed. They were fortunate to escape through a small, blown-out crawl space window.

In times of crisis, small communities come together, and we are fortunate to have a remarkable community here at BRL. The family is currently staying with us at the lodge as they begin the arduous process of rebuilding. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated, as they are starting from scratch.
