My parents' house was hit by the tornado in Hillsboro last night on March 14th. There is extensive damage to their house, the property, vehicles, and the shop that they run Crosby Door out of. There are trees down all over, including ones that fell on and into the house, over the top of work trucks and personal vehicles, their camper, and on and into their shop. The roof of the house was partially ripped off and caving in in multiple places, and the siding on the back of the house and roof over the porch were completely ripped off. The barn and shed where the side by side, boat, and tractor were parked is completely mangled, smashed and most of it is completely gone.

Two of my sisters still live full-time with my parents, one of them still only being in junior high school. The house is inhospitable, so my parents and sisters will be staying in hotels or with family until they can figure out a more long term solution and they are able to move back into the house, which we don’t know how long will take.

I want to raise money to help with the costs of hotel expenses and with any other financial burdens that will come along with this for them. Everyone is safe, and that is the important part. These were all just things that were destroyed, and I know God will make sure everything is okay. Our family has never been through anything like this, so we will be navigating it one day at a time.
