Tornado Relief for Karen's Family and Pets

Hi everyone. My name is Sharon Stanfield. As many of you know, my friend Karen Mihalik's home was destroyed by the deadly tornado that ripped through London, Kentucky on May 16th. Thankfully, she and her family survived. However, Karen, her youngest daughter, and her 4 fur babies (dogs) have been displaced and are in need of immediate financial assistance.

Anyone who knows Karen knows that she would be the first one to offer assistance to anyone in need and the last one to ask for assistance for herself. I guess her years of service to the community as an RN might play into that a bit.

At this time, the dogs are lodged at Laura's Dog Retreat. If you've ever had to board an animal, you know that the cost can add up very quickly, especially when you have more than one. This expense, coupled with the time she is having to miss from work, the extra expense of having to replace necessities, and the unforeseen expenses related to the disaster have caused a tremendous financial hardship for her and her family.
