TORNADO RELIEF FOR EDDIE ASHCRAFT & FAMILY
Donation protected

Due to the terrible tornadoes that went through Lee County, Alabama, on March 3, 2019, Eddie Ashcraft and her family lost their home. Eddie and her husband David, have worked to build this home for their children, grandchildren, and pets over the years. Eddie is a cook/cashier at Crossroads BP and anyone who lives around that store knows her. She has fed most anyone in the Smiths Station area at some point. Everyone loves Eddie's loving, but feisty, personality. I have worked with Eddie for over 5 years, and she hardly ever misses a day. She comes in at 4:30 a.m. most days and doesn't mind working late.
The family was unable to get insurance on the house because of building specifications. Eddie has a great attitude about the situation. She is just thankful that none of her family or pets were injured. She says this can all be rebuilt, even though it took them a long time to get it. Their house and most everything in it is completely ruined. A tree also fell on their truck and totaled it.
These are hard working people who will be ok, but the next few months will not be easy for them. If we could raise $2,000 to help them get through the next few months it would be great. The money will be given directly to Eddie so that she can use it to help the family stay afloat while they find a new place to live. Please keep them in your prayers. If you are unable to donate please share this post.
