My dad, Dave Nees, was hit by a tornado on the evening of December 15th in Glidden, Iowa. His acreage sustained a devastating amount of damage. The large work shed, which stores all of his equipment for his landscape business was demolished and along with it multiple vehicles and tools. His house was also hit tearing off his garage and destroying both vehicles inside. One was left with the work bench from the shed driven into the windshield. Currently, his house is not livable as debris has caused holes in the roof and we fear there is structural damage not able to be seen from the outside. He does have insurance, but deductibles are needed for multiple policies. Even with insurance, of course not everything will be covered at it’s full value if at all. The bright side is he did not sustain any injuries and his basement saved his life. Thank you for any help you can give.
