Hello, I’m Aaron Colburn. My good buddy and fellow Air Force Veteran, Ben Setchell, unfortunately lost his entire home, belongings, and his livelihood last night during a devastating tornado in Union County, Kentucky. Ben originally hails from Dekalb, Illinois, where he grew up before joining the Air Force in 2015. Ben served in the Air Force with me in Alaska and New Mexico before he decided to separate honorably and attend college at the University of Kentucky to chase a lifelong dream of working with wildlife.

If you know Ben, you’re familiar with his willingness to help others — whether it’s lending a hand with repairs or offering support when someone’s in need. Right now, it’s Ben who could use a bit of help.

Ben and Kodi have faced many challenges together over the years. They’ve weathered the toughest times side by side and are currently living in his camper as they figure out their next steps.

We’ve set up this fundraiser to support them as they move forward and work toward rebuilding. The funds raised will go towards:

• Temporary housing for Ben and Kodi

• Essential items like clothing, furniture, and household goods

• Repair or relocation costs
