Help Jack Teague Recover From Tornado Loss

My 21 year old son, Jack Teague, is a student at ASU and living in Jonesboro, Arkansas. On March 28th, the home he was renting was destroyed by a tornado. He was at home at the time but wisely sought shelter in a small hallway. Miraculously, he was unharmed. His vehicle is badly damaged and, most likely, totaled. We were able to save his clothing and some personal items. He did not own much of great monetary value but the loss is felt with a heavy heart, nonetheless  

His job is in Jonesboro and he starts an important internship with a local company soon so he needs to remain in Jonesboro, if possible. We will need to find a new home for him and replace just the bare essentials. We aren’t sure yet if insurance will total out his truck but we know he will need help replacing it with another used vehicle or paying the high deductible towards repairs.  

Normally, this is when family would step in to provide the financial support needed. Jack’s family consists of me, his brothers, and sister-in-laws. Of course, we will all do that we can for him ... but it will not be enough.

Jack is a determined and hard-working young man - working towards a degree in the agricultural industry (straight A student). He loves his family and friends and would drop everything to help someone in need. If you were to ask him what he needs right now, he would likely tell you that’s he’s fine.  But, as his mother, I know this isn’t completely true.  

We know the outcome here could have been so much worse.  Jack survived the tornado and many of the items lost can be easily replaced. Our mission is just to get life back to normal for Jack, as soon as possible. He’s worked so hard to get where he is. He is a wonderful young man and is deserving of some good will.

Donations will go directly to Jack and will be wisely spent - used to replace furniture, cover deposit and first-months rent,  and his vehicle deductible (or towards another used truck if his is totaled).
