Tornado Disaster: Help the Harrison Family
Donation protected

Please join me in helping our colleague, David Harrison. A vicious tornado tore through his Linwood, Kansas neighborhood on Tuesday, destroying 19 structures including the one where he and his wife Emily, and 3 daughters, Charley, Delilah, and his 8 month old baby Vada, called home. Their house was the only house to take a direct hit. It was an EF4 tornado (the scale goes from 1 to 5, with 5 being the worst) and the tornado was 1 mile wide when it hit them.
Although he and his family were not injured, (thanks to 10” thick concrete tornado room David built last year with a 4” steel door), their house is COMPLETELY destroyed. Without that room, they would not have survived. There is nothing left, no house, no cars and most, if not all possessions, ALL GONE.
As he and his family try to recover and figure out what insurance will cover, as well as more permanent living arrangements, David is trying to come to terms with this devastating loss and the realization that, if not for that room, they probably would not have made it.
Please lets pull together and show up for our colleague. They are going to need to replace everything as well as try to continue supporting their girls and infant daughter. Every little bit helps, so please consider a donation of any amount. Thank you so much and I know we can make a difference for David here and lessen the burden of this terrible tragedy, if even just a little bit!
