Tornado Destroys Chattanooga Reporters Home, Cars

As reporters, it is never our goal to be the story, but an EF-3 tornado that tore through our home changed that for Mariah Rock and I.  At around 11:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday, we huddled down in our hallway holding on tight to our 4 dogs, as the tornado ripped though our home.  The storm ripped a car-sized chunk of our roof off, crushed our cars, and scattered debris and glass throughout our home. The damage is extensive. Many items will not able to be replace nor retrieved. I understand many people in Chattanooga and the Tennessee Valley are suffering.
