Tori’s last wish
Some of you know Tori Sue Olson but for those who don’t , she is a mother, a
daughter, a sister, a friend, and a person who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma since 2018, an incurable form of cancer. She had a bone marrow transplant in 2019 which did buy her some time. She is currently on maintenance treatment to keep the “queen bee “ cancer cells at bay. She hasto take Revlimid , A chemotherapy drug, for three weeks every month. The oncologists monitor her blood work monthly and she is required to have a bone marrow biopsy every year at a minimum. Currently the maintenance treatment is keeping her myeloma at amanageable level, however when her cancer does raise its ugly head again, and it will, bone marrow transplant will no longer be an option. Tori has two children, one of her children has special needs and is completely dependent on others for all of her needs. Tori has. devoted her life to the love of her children and her horses... Now it is time for Tori.
Tori is currently living in Janesville in
her(very adorable) mobile home . Her
last wish for this life is to move her
mobile home to Soldiers Grove to be
near her family as she lives out the rest of her life. She will also have a home for her horses with family. Her horses and her children are her lifeline as they provide the peace and joy to her life which is currently pain ridden and
difficult.
I am hoping to raise $8000 to help her move her mobile home to her forever home. The approximate cost is $2000 to take it down, $3000 to move it, $2000 to set it back up in its new space, and $1000 to get her up and running. Her illness has made it nearly impossible for her to work so her savings have been depleted over the last year.
Tori is a proud woman and I hate to see her so stressed in this life which she has little time left. Please help me help her find peace in a town where her parents grew up and where she wishes to live out the rest of her life . Any support you can offer will be deeply appreciated.
